The 3rd Annual 2010 Halloween Bag Design Contest will begin on September 1, 2010. Please check back then for entry forms!
When to Enter: The contest will open on September 1, 2010 and run through Halloween. All entries must be received by November 5, 2010.
Voting: The ChicoBag marketing department will select top designs to be posted on the ChicoBag™ facebook page. Designs will be posted on November 10, 2010. Once designs are posted, voting for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be open to ChicoBag™ facebook fans and will run through November 17, 2010. Fans may vote by leaving a comment under their favorite design. One vote per person.
Prizes:
1st Place: $250 cash to the artist, ChicoBag™ brand reusable bag filled with eco-friendly gooides from our prize partners, elements of design printed on limited edition ChicoBag™ brand reusable bags and $250 cash or $500 in ChicoBag™ product to go to school or organization
2nd Place: $100 cash to the artist and a ChicoBag™ brand reusable bag filled with eco-friendly goodies from our prize partners

2010 HALLOWEEN BAG DESIGN CONTEST DETAILS
How to Enter: The contest is open to children ages 1-13 as of October 31, 2010. Create a design that best captures the "Spirit of a Green Halloween" using the ChicoBag™ design template (available on September 1st) and your medium of choice! An adult will need to complete the agreement form on the reverse side of the template before submitting the entry. Entries may be submitted via snail mail or electronically. Fine Print: All entries must be received between September 1, 2010 and November 5, 2010 by 11:59 OM Pacific Standard Time. Winning designs will be announced on November 19, 2010. Announcement will be made on the ChicoBag website and ChicoBag facebook page. Children ages 1-13 are encouraged to enter the contest by submitting an original drawing best depicting the spirit of a Green Halloween. Artistic talent is not the focus of the contest, but the design that best captures the "spirit" of a Green Halloween is. The hope is that children participating will be inspired to make greener choices for Halloween and other celebrations throughout the year. Images must be an original design. ChicoBag and green Halloween are not responsible for lost of damaged designs. Artwork will not be returned and becomes the property of ChicoBag. The top three designs may be used in part, or in full, on bags and in print or online. Up to three entries per child allowed. Top designs (determined by Chicobag) will be posted to an album on the ChicoBag facebook page. All voting will be done through the ChicoBag facebook fan page. www.facebook.com/chicobag. Voting will be open to everyone. Votes must be left as comments under the design of choice. Votes will only be counted if they are posted under the design of choice. The designs with the most votes by November 17, 2010 at 11:59 PM PST will be declared winners. In the event of a tie, ChicoBag will determine the winner using an interoffice vote. No Purchase necessary. Prizes will be mailed to winners using the address given on the 2010 ChicoBag and Green Halloween Contest Agreement form. First place winners will receive a check for $250 made out to the artist and $250 made out to school/organization or $500 retail value ChicoBag brand product. Second place winners will receive a check for $100 made out to the artist. All entries must be accompanied by a signed and completed 2010 ChicoBag and Green Halloween Contest Agreement form. Entries submitted without completed forms will not be considered. Forms must be completed by the parent or guardian of the artist. Signatures must be handwritten (original, scan or photocopy is acceptable). No typed signatures. Open to children ages 1-13 as of October 31, 2010. Artists must be residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia. Contest is void where prohibited by law.
